My Approach & What I Can Offer

My approach is Integrative – this means that I incorporate different theoretical models into our work such as Relational, Psychodynamic, CBT and TA (Transactional Analysis) according to what will fit well for you. We can explore your difficulties together and think about the best way forward in a non-judgemental, empathic and safe space. I am experienced in working both short and long term with clients struggling with a range of problems including:

My approach incorporates a fundamental belief in the core self which might have been negatively impacted by life events both recent and past. I believe that whilst we cannot change such events we can seek to find a way to live more peacefully with them in the present. This is achieved through learning to trust our own process of change and growth leading to a lasting and sustainable improved sense of wellbeing.
